Throughout her dynamic career, Allyson Tomchin has touched many lives and organizations by developing relationships with an eye to reaching a goal. Allyson brings a sense of urgency and clarity through her Goal Oriented Approach by systematically dissecting complex matters and addressing solutions, not problems.Allyson's background is diverse with extensive clinical experience in Broward County Alcohol and Drug Abuse programs. She created a not-for-profit gang prevention program in Miami-Dade County in coordination with the State Attorneys Office, Barry University and The Miami Beach Police Department. Allyson also coordinated medical, legal, case management, therapeutic, & educational services for over 900 families for Miami-Dade County Public Schools and provided clinical supervision for Social Work Interns from FIU, FSU, and Barry University. She has consulted on program evaluations for The University of Miami and The United States Department of Education. As manager of training and customer relations in the private sector for a technology driven businesses negotiation skills were vital as she developed and facilitated effective cross functional technical/manufacturing/ sales and marketing teams.
Her strength in family mediation lies in the belief of working in collaboration toward reaching the common goal of constantly and consistently remaining child centered.
Allyson received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and her Master's Degree in Social Work from Barry University. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Allyson is the President of Directive Energy, a Coaching, Training and Mediation firm based in Hollywood, Florida.
